Hosting LAN Parties

Hackerspace Stockholm is a natural home for LAN parties — we have the power, the networking, and the mindset. Once the space is open we plan to run recurring LAN nights on a regular schedule, both for members and as open community events. If you've been looking for somewhere to bring your PC and play with people who actually care about this stuff, you're in the right place.

Regularly Scheduled LAN Nights

We run a recurring LAN party at the space on [date]. Some sessions are members-only, others are open to the wider community — check the events calendar to see what's coming up. Sessions typically run from [time] to [time]. Bring your PC and peripherals. Everything else is sorted.

Current Setup and Layout

The space can currently host [number] setups simultaneously. Every seat has a wired gigabit connection, a dedicated power run, and enough desk space for a full PC and peripherals. We don't do shared switches or daisy-chained extension cords — every station is properly set up.

The layout above shows the default configuration. Stations can be rearranged for different group sizes or team setups — let us know in advance if you need something specific.

Host Your Own LAN

Absolutely. We hire out the space to groups who want to run their own LAN parties. You get the full setup — stations, networking, power, kitchen access, and a member host on site for the duration. Machine access is available on request.

A couple of things to note: the station count in the diagram is set to 10 as a placeholder — swap it out once you have the real number confirmed. The layout is also fully editable if you want to reflect the actual floor plan more precisely, just let me know.
