The 1337 price point is intentional — it's leet (1337) in hacker culture.

12. Sponsorship

Sponsoring Stockholm Hackerspace means directly funding a community-run hackerspace in Stockholm. Your money keeps the lights on, the machines running, and the community growing. We keep sponsorship simple, honest, and non-extractive — for both sides.

We accept sponsors to help cover running costs (rent ~25 000 SEK/month, power, internet, equipment). Sponsor tiers:

Tier Price
Bronze X SEK/month
Silver X SEK/month
Gold X SEK/month

What sponsorship is — and isn't

We're a community, not an agency. Sponsorship funds the space — it doesn't buy influence over it. These rules protect our members, our independence, and ultimately the value that makes sponsoring us worthwhile in the first place

What sponsors can do
  • Using "Sponsor of Stockholm Hackerspace" in your own marketing materials
  • Having your logo displayed on our website and in the space
  • Attending sponsored events and co-branded workshops
  • Getting a receipt / underlag for your accounting
  • Suggesting equipment or project ideas (we decide what we build)
What sponsors cannot do
  • Influencing editorial, technical, or community decisions
  • Requiring us to endorse your products or services
  • Accessing member-only areas, systems, or communications
  • Placing restrictions on what members can build or discuss
  • Using the space or our member list for sales or recruitment without separate hire agreement
  • Sub-contracting or white-labelling the sponsorship to a third party

We reserve the right to decline, pause, or return a sponsorship at any time if we believe it conflicts with our values or community wellbeing — without owing a reason. Likewise, sponsors may cancel at any time with 30 days notice. Prepaid amounts for the notice period are non-refundable. These terms are in the spirit of keeping the space genuinely independent.
