Infrastructure Notes

  • Backups: Weekly automated backups for critical systems.
  • Access Control: Admin access limited to maintainers.
  • Maintenance Schedule: Monthly checks for all servers, software updates, and security patches.
  • Security: Enforced strong passwords, MFA where possible.

How We Hope The Network Will Work

we don't have a space yet, but when we get a space we hope to:

  • own our own hardware instead of paying for hosting
  • insulate our network, external traffic goes through the VPS
  • members can slot in their own servers
